So, You want to become a Published Author
Writing a book was on the bucket list I created in high school, entitled, "111 things to do before I die". Number 54 on that old crumpled piece of brown craft paper has stuck with me my entire adult life. I didn't just desire to write a book and snag the title of best-selling author (though I did *high five), I wanted to help other people. Cringe, right?!
Writing was always my jam. From writing my own illustrated book at age 8 (i'll share this on socials sometime soon), to doing my sisters English homework, to endless childhood diaries, well, you can catch my drift. I love to write. The common theme for all of the above was not that i'm a born writer, it's this: I know how to tell a good story.
You won't find me storytelling about myself on socials (though when you do, you can be assured it's a goodie), you'll see me creating things you've never seen before out of the most simple foundation.
My skill is seeing the magic others can't and creating something extraordinary. Writing a book can seem daunting at first but with the right story and the right guidance, it can be one of the most liberating things you do in this lifetime.
Becoming an author means your words are now embedded in the universe. Countless eyes will be reached, hearts moved and lives changed. You don't have to be a born writer, all you need is a story. And that, my friends... we all have.
I assure you, your soul is yearning to set it free.
